What happens after you have placed an order

Once you have purchased your furniture, you will receive an email confirmation and a call to confirm. There are two types of shipping depending on the size of products you have purchased.

For small orders (1-2 items) under 55 lbs (e.g Mirrors, Night-Stands, Occasional Tables and Stools) we will deliver FREE via UPS. Oak Furniture Land will initially contact you to confirm the order before passing onto UPS for delivery.

For larger orders (heavy, bulky, 2 person or multiple boxes) we will deliver for FREE via our two man delivery team.

  • Once our two man delivery team have received your order they will call you to schedule a delivery date
  • Within 24 hours of your agreed delivery date our two man delivery team will notify you with a 3 hour delivery window
  • On the day of delivery, our delivery team will call you when they are 30 minutes from your home
  • The items will be delivered to your room of choice
  • The items will need to be signed for
  • Please note the items will not be unpacked, nor the packaging removed


The delivery lead time on your order confirmation assumes UPS or our two man delivery team are able to deliver to your address at the first attempt. Delays are possible if shipments are held up due to nobody being at home or through missed calls trying to arrange delivery. We will deliver to most zip codes within the time frame, however If your address is in a remote location this may add further delays to your shipment.

It’s really important to acknowledge and read the following terms and conditions of our free delivery service.

  • Delivered to your room of choice includes one flight of stairs only
  • Items will not be unboxed and we are unable to take the packaging away
  • Your product will begin its journey many days in advance. If you wish to make any changes or cancel your order, returns fees will apply. Please check our Returns & Cancellations page
  • Once the delivery has been completed, should you have any issues please contact us within 48 hours of your delivery

Certain charges will be applicable (for our two-man delivery service) depending on your location and individual building requirements; please see below for full list of charges

  • Unboxing prior to delivery = $50 per box/carton


* Some items require minimal assembly such as Dining Tables, Beds and Amoires. Some handles may also be on the inside of the furniture for protection whilst unboxing.

Returns & Cancellations

At Oak Furniture land, we are very proud about the quality of our products. We want every customer to be delighted with their purchase. If something isn’t right, we will do our best to put it right. That’s our promise.

The delivery of heavy, bulky furniture, especially solid hardwood, is expensive. Our FREE shipping service is part of our promise. We believe this sets us apart from our competitors. Our furniture is both thoroughly inspected and packaged with care to ensure it is delivered and received in perfect condition.

In the rare occurrence that an item arrives damaged please notify customer services immediately (1-844-304-6777). We will replace or a furniture technician will come to your home to return it to its perfect condition.

Cancellations: We would ask you review your order details after you place the order. If you wish to cancel or amend your order before its dispatched from our chosen partners that's ok. Once the furniture has been dispatched on the day of delivery from our partners, please see our cancellations information.

Returns: We are confident you will be delighted with your furniture. However if for any reason you wish to return your items to us, you can within 14 days of receipt of your item/s. Please see our returns information below. Please return the item(s) in the same condition as received and in the original packaging. Upon receipt and inspection of merchandise a refund will be processed.

If any items are incorrect, damaged or faulty you should notify us immediately by calling 1-844-304-6777 or clicking here. Please provide us with the S/C number printed on the white label (found on the furniture).

Cancellations
You can cancel your order at any time.  However once the furniture has been dispatched on the day of delivery from our chosen partners cancellation fee’s starting from $75 will apply. 

Re-arranged Deliveries
We do not charge for re-arranged deliveries.

Returns
We are confident you will be delighted with your furniture. However if for any reason you wish to return your items to us, you can within 14 days of purchase.  Returns fees starting from $75 will apply.  Fee’s will not apply for faulty products and we do not charge a re-stocking fee.
