We're pleased to offer an exciting collection of solid hardwood coffee tables. Our extensive range includes every option you'll ever need. We have a charming selection of handcrafted coffee tables made from solid wood and constructed using time-honored techniques, such as dovetail joints. As well as a fantastic selection of oak coffee tables, our collection also includes distinctive mango wood in various designs.

Whether featured as the centerpiece of the room or pushed up against a wall, our tables are built to stand the test of time.

The first use of a coffee table was in the Victorian era, when it appeared as a much taller table than the low style we expect today. The early 20th century brought new design revolutions, such as Art Deco, that pushed furniture-making toward more architecturally inspired concepts. This resulted in less fussy, more angular pieces with cleaner lines.

The mid-20th century saw a rise in demand for mass-produced furniture, and more utilitarian furniture styles were adopted. Coffee also became a household staple, rather than something enjoyed by the rich or in exclusive coffee bars.

The popularity of drinking coffee in the living room spurred the development of what we now recognize as the traditional coffee table. Though it's called a coffee table, this piece of furniture can also hold collectibles, books or magazines, and may incorporate additional storage in the form of storage drawers or a shelf underneath.

Alternatives to the traditional coffee table include wooden benches, storage trunks, and other occasional tables. A wooden coffee table can add character and charm to a living room by complementing traditional furniture or creating a counterpoint to ultra-modern d├ęcor.
