Oak Furniture Land Delivery

We're committed to providing a delivery service which is quick, efficient and hassle-free.

We will take your items to a room of your choice but unfortunately we are unable to take the packaging away. For our free standard delivery service, an estimated delivery date will be on your order confirmation email. The exact date will be confirmed during a phone call from our Home Delivery Team. You will then receive a delivery confirmation email.

If you would like to book a date that suits you, or you would like to guarantee your delivery within 7 days, you can choose our express delivery option for just £39.

For both standard and express delivery services, we will attempt to contact you to give a more specified time on the delivery date - usually 30 to 45 minutes before.

Just before your delivery, please measure doorways or staircases to ensure items can reach their final destinations. Checking the angles of staircases and any potential obstacles (e.g. pictures, lampshades) can help save time.

Other Delivery Information

For any orders with a delivery address in the below-listed postcode areas, or orders weighing less than 25kg, we may deliver using a pallet delivery service or a parcel courier. These delivery services are still free of charge.

Pallet Delivery

If you live in any of the following postcode areas, your order may be delivered using a one man palletised distribution service:

KW11, KW13-14, IV27

Pallet deliveries may also be used at exceptionally busy times or at your request. For more information on this delivery service, click here.

Parcel Courier

If your order weighs less than 25kg, it may be delivered using a specialist parcel courier service. For more information on this delivery service, click here.



Unfortunately we are unable to deliver outside of the UK Mainland, this includes the Isle of Wight.

Please note that on rare occasions your delivery service may be subject to change. If this occurs, you will be contacted prior to delivery to be informed of any changes.

 

Handy Delivery Tips

    1. Check measurements of furniture and access to your home

It is important to check the measurements of your chosen furniture on our website and ensure there is adequate doorway and stair access. In the instance that a non faulty item has to be returned after dispatch due to reasons beyond our control (including aborted deliveries by the customer), you will be subject to return fees.

    1. Walk the route from lorry to room

Go to the point in your home where your delivery will begin and walk the path that our Home Delivery Team will take to carry your new furniture into your room of choice. Take your tape measure with you to measure any unusual door or ceiling heights or any other twists and turns that might cause a problem. Your order will usually be delivered via a large lorry, about the size of a rubbish lorry, so please be sure your property is accessible for this size of vehicle and call us prior to delivery if not. Problems can occur with long gravel driveways with tight access so please inform us prior to delivery if this is applicable.

    1. Be helpful - clear and protect the route from lorry to room

Remove any tripping hazards, furniture, ornaments or wall fixtures that will constrict the path. Please note that our drivers are not allowed to remove their shoes due to health and safety reasons. It is your responsibility to protect your floors and carpets. We recommend using sturdy brown paper secured with masking tape, however heavier items may require more substantial, purpose-made floor protection. Please judge what level of floor protection might be needed yourself and ensure that it is properly positioned before our Home Delivery Team arrives.

If you are unavailable to accept the delivery yourself, there must be someone over the age of 16 at your property to take the delivery for you.

    1. Retain the original packaging and S/C number

Our Home Delivery Team will not unwrap or assemble any items or take the packaging away. It is important to unpack your furniture as carefully as possible and retain the original packaging until you are completely satisfied that there are no issues. Please keep the white label with the S/C number printed on it (found on the furniture) as you will need to include this in any future correspondence with us.

    1. Check your new furniture for damage or missing items
